Dilution, space, movement, mirage, reflection, emanation these are the things Pavel Borisenko tries to catch and put on canvas.
The artist works in the genres of drawing and formal composition. Though he also has some beautiful landscapes in his studio. The artist says that he loves his every work regardless the genre.
The artist was born on 16th of January 1957 in Lugansk. In 1972 he graduated from Lugansk Art School and in the 1976 - from Lugansk State College of Arts. In 1983 he got a diploma at the Kharkiv Institute of Arts in Industry. Pavel studied there at the department of industrial art. He has been a member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists since 2000. Pavel paints since childhood and in 1993 he had his first personal exhibition in Lugansk. He took part in many group regional and all-Ukrainian exhibitions. His art was highly appreciated by critics. His works are in the Ministry of culture of Ukraine, in the State Museum of the History of Ukraine, in private collections.
Pavel is attracted by the art of old Russian masters: I. Repin, V. Serov, M. Brubel; among modern artists he distinguishes A. Rodchenko, Y. Chernikhov.
Pavel Nikolaevich is married and has a son.
He likes to say that if his country needs his art he will gladly dedicate his life to his native land. He will always believe that good overcomes evil.
