Energy of Life and Beauty in the Art Works of Andrey Shwidkiy.
Man, woman, love, relationships.... simple every day and at the same time complicated things.... - these are the topics of the Shwidkiy's paintings. They are full of life, color, energy and beauty. There is a part of his soul in each of them and when you take a look at any of his art works it mesmorized you and make you to stop your look and think about how wonderfull our life can be and we are the only who can change it for better. Everything depends on us: to make it beautifull and colofull or to let it go grey and borring.
This artist loves all his works. This artist has chosen to paint a very simple but vital topic – man and things that surround him. With his art Andrey treats the idea of "mythical, out of time relationships between human beings; attempts to cognize oneself, to become aware of one’s inner world". For quite a long time he develops this topic in the genre of figurative painting, landscape and still life.
The artist was born on the 10th of March, 1960 in Lugansk. He started painting at the age of 12. After the eighth form of secondary school he entered Lugansk state art school and then continued his education in 1980 at Kharkiv Institute of Industrial Art. While studying at the Institute Shwidkiy began to exhibit and sell his artworks, took part in regional and republican exhibitions. At the present moment he lives and works in Lugansk. Andrey is a member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artist since 1999.
